The Jewellery Show 2011 ran at Birmingham's NEC last month, providing plenty of ideas for fashion-conscious ladies using unsecured loans.
Charlotte Cowell, PR manager and editor for the show and Spring Fair International, said charm and friendship bracelets are still going strong as a fashion, particularly in silver.
"Cuffs are also having a moment and pocket watches – also pendant watches - are also out on the catwalks; Royal London has some nice examples," she went on to say.
At the show, Tirisi Jewellery won the Company of Master Jewellers award for best new collection, which could be useful news for those using unsecured loans.
"Men's jewellery is also becoming more important and prevalent and more than just about cufflinks," added Ms Cowell.
Meanwhile, Retail Jeweller reports that the accessories worn by the stars at the recent Oscars showed a taste for ethical jewellery and coloured gemstones, while others went for a more understated look.
